I'm originally from Upstate NY, where I spent most of my days riding horses with my sister, taking art classes, & playing sports. It was a great place to grow up; full of nature, good eats, & plenty of inspiration. My first stepping stone away from the charming towns I grew up around was, of course, college. ​

I found myself playing lacrosse & soccer in Western NY for Houghton College, where I spent my first year in undergrad. I made a dramatic change from pre-med to philosophy within 1 semester, which I later pursued in more detail at Bangor University, located in Wales, UK. 

Moving to Wales was a life-giving experience. What an absolute treasure! For 3 years abroad, I explored all the magic North Wales (& neighboring countries) had to offer, & I feel truly blessed to have had this opportunity. God is so good!

​Directly after graduation, I had a flight to Portland, OR for my last academic endeavor; a Master's of Science in Nutrition.

​A big thank-you to Portland for being a great home to me; this city has the absolute best opportunities, inspiration, & community. Alongside working the newly-earned letters after my name,  I hope to continue to express the creativity & imagination through my art & into the world!
